Her speech was part biography, part profession of faith, part political prospectus, part job application and part attack on Donald Trump. “Imagine him in the Oval Office facing a real crisis,” she said. “A man you can bait with a tweet is not a man we can trust with nuclear weapons.” For herself, she said, “when there are no ceilings, the sky’s the limit.” She offered a point-by-point case for her presidency, including a jobs program and investment in infrastructure.
